Professor Neolith (casually Neo) is a Moth who works for the Queen, analyzing the Ancient Artifacts. He is first encountered in front of the Golden Cave, being attacked by two Wasp Troopers.
Appearance
Neolith, like most other moths, wears his wings similar to a cape. He has beige skin along with brown fur and wings. His eyes are a light grey color, his abdomen adorns black stripe pattern, and has pockets near his waist.
In the non-canonical Version 0.4.1 demo, Neolith showcases an average build with light skin and brown hair. He wears a beige undershirt with a brown and black tie, which he wears over with a dark tan sweater. This in-turn is worn over a brown jacket with golden buttons around the wrists and a darker tan for the pants. He carries a folder with paper.
Personality
He has considerable knowledge of how the artifacts lead to the Everlasting Sapling, which is likely why the Queen employed him.
He is capable of translating the Roach scripts on the Ancient Tablet by putting on the Ancient Mask. He also deduced that Team Snakemouth found only half of the Ancient Key in the Honey Factory.
Kabbu knew Neolith during the time he spent in the Lost Sands, and the two are good friends.

- Neo was initially found in the Lost Sands for sidequests, but was replaced by Hawk for the main story.
- Ironically, he is one of few major characters to not have a dedicated sidequest.
