Eremi is a resident of Defiant Root, who can be found in the museum at the beginning of Chapter 4. She offers the quest It's Too Hot!. She was created by Aurasisle (credited under her pre-transition handle, Meirdent).^[1]

Personality

In spite of living in the mostly hot Defiant Root, Eremi often forgets the debilitating heat of the town and tries to ask for something that cools her down. She often travels and collects medals on her journeys, and likes thick forested areas.^[2]

Trivia

• Eremi was originally made for her creator's game, Down Below.^[2]
  • Her artwork in the Art of Bugaria (specifically her "chibi" design) is taken directly from this game.^[2]
• Her name comes from Eremiaphila, a genus of desert mantids.^[2]
• According to her creator, she pitched a "rainy place" as her location. This was, however, a guess, as they had no information of every location at the time and eventually settled on putting her on Defiant Root.^{[2] [3]}
  • She was also planned to have a side quest that revolved around Team Snakemouth protecting her from raindrops.^[2]
• Eremi is asexual.^[4]
