Ice Rain quick kill

This strategy revolves around increasing Leif's attack as much as possible to quickly kill the Devourer with Ice Rain. It can be made simpler with more medals, but the ones used here will allow to pull this strategy off earlier. It does require a bit of luck. Hardest Mode enemy stats are used here (Devourer HP: 87).

You'll need Spicy Fries (Spicy Berry + Danger Spud), Burly Bomb (Burly Berry + Hard Seed) and Abombination ((Glazed Honey cooked) + (Hard Seed + Spicy Berry)). You'll also need First Plating, Weak Stomach, Poison Attacker, Power Exchange x 2 and Last Attack on Leif. You'll also need Heavy Throw. Leif needs to have a minimum of 13 HP, and you need at least 19 TP.

Turn 1:

Put Leif at front line. Give Leif Spicy Fries to raise his attack and poison him. Throw your Burly Bomb to deal 3 damage and lower defense (Devourer HP: 84/87). Use frigid Coffin. With front line, ice weakness, Attack Exchange x 2, Poison Attacker and Attack Up, Leif has 8 attack, Frigid Coffin deals +2 damage, and Devourer has 0 defense now, so the attack will deal 10 damage (TP: 16/19, Devourer HP: 74/87).

Turn 2:

Leif takes 2 damage from poison (Leif HP: 11/13). You need First Plating to be used up at this point. Turn Relay to Leif once. Use Ice Rain (TP: 3/19), dealing a total of 8 * 4 = 32 damage (Devourer HP: 42/87). Use the Abombination with the bug other than Leif to deal 10 damage to everything and recover 10 TP (Leif HP: 1/13, TP: 13/19, Devourer HP: 32/87, the Flytrap is out). Use Ice Rain again. Leif's exhaustion will be canceled out by Last Attack, dealing 32 more damage (TP: 0/19, Devourer HP: 0/87).
